Hi,
I've found PW through the Ogre3D featured projects. I'm dreaming about a game-world, where the action of a player really changes the face of the world. I've played around with simple economic simulations, some graphic engines, frameworks ond so on, (I'm a software-developer in RL) but as I don't have the time and nearly no art skills I didn't get anywhere. (I know, that creating something interesting is not possible for a single person) But dabbling around with a graphic engine is much more fun than programming a driver layer for a car-phone-application.  Lately I've played WoW, EVE and some FPS, single player ... but never I had the thrill in a computer game, I have in paper and pencil RP. Unfortunatelly I (and all my friends) have to work now and the possibilities are relative sparse, (to get even 5 people in one room at the same time is a big problem) so I had to compensate. But it's just not sufficient to still the thirst for a really interesting game, so I keep my eyes open for a development-team that is on the same track, I wnat to go to help them develope my game. |

Welcome to Project Wish! We hope you find what you are looking for. We are all here for our own reasons, which is similar to your experience. To us, we saw Wish as that elusive game, and we are here to bring that idea back to MMO's.

Well, but not all of us played Wish... I can't tell if it really brought something new to MMORPGs or not, but it's certain that this team wants to make a game that will be actually different.

I never saw wish so I can't say about that - but the ideas I read about here are very near what I was dreaming of. |
