A first blog entry, I supose its a good way to keep everybody up to speed, so I'll try to leave stuff here regulary from now on.
Recently we've been bashing away on the terrain. Together with Memphis we added the new PLSM2 shaders so we now have a nicely lit terrain with sweet looking splats. Now that Jerky has suplied us with an awesome new .raw heightmap, we're also having smooth as silk terrain. Dwarf is really shaping up and its starting to go to a functional level where the art team can start building the world!
ATM I'm on a small brake because I want to add some optimisations to the terrain rendering, but yet need info from the world developers. Then again, that leaves me with time to write this blog
In short, the world editor (Dwarf) is getting awesome!
