Well, it has been a while since we posted a news update on the main page. We know that there are a lot of you that come back and check up on us often and we appreciate your support. You know who you are.

We recently reorganized and regrouped the development team. We have had a couple of dev meetings this month and are getting things where we want them to be. We would like to welcome the latest additions to the team. Welceme Noir and Dwilf. They are new programmers who will be helping us with tools for the time being. We also would like to welcome back a number of previous members who had gone inactive due to real life issues.

Currently, the PW Art team is working hard on modeling buildings and other items that will go into our Alpha 1 milestone. Our plan is to have a complete city to be able to walk around in and chat with other players. This includes a working login/authentication server. This is more of a proof-of-concept or tech demo, but we want to prove that we can do simple things before we try to make a complete game. This is also part of the Extreme Programming methodology (http://www.extremeprogramming.org/) that we use in PW.

We are always looking for more artists, so check out the menu to the left that says Help Wanted if you have the skills we need. Even if you dont, jump on IRC and have a chat with us. Most of us usually idle in there for most of the day.
