personally there is little i can do to help other than show my support and hope that you succede in your attempt to keep wish alive :)

altho i was only there for a short time the game made a huge impact.it was and still is what i believe a lot of us are looking for.

well i'm one of the types who honestly doesn't see how this can really change anything, and yet here i am 8)

would love to be surprised through this, it's not often i drop every other game for 3 days straight to play a beta... or ever, for that matter...

I don't know what if anything can be done but I am interested in supporting this project in any way I can. I would be interested in joining in the financing if any offer was being put together to buy the IP from MR.

Again not much i can do except maybe help on website content but i would be willing to help keep what was a great game alive. Hopefully as i hjear MR isn't dead that all hope isn't lost even if we dopn't get support i am sure we can make this work.

I am another who is doubtful to this project, and for me I would need some convincing before committing myself, at least to part 2 of the plan.

My heart is still with Wish however, and when the team behind Project Wish got something more tangible to show, I would seriously reconsider devoting my spare time.

Skepticicsm should be expected, especialy when it comes to rebuilding a server with an emulator, and successfully running it for long periods of time. Some of you don't already know this, but it has been done, not just once, but with many different games. I think the 2nd part of the plan would be easier than the first... Since MR never can anyone a justified reason for this mess.

EQ, DOAC, UO etc have all been run on free servers so i dont see why it cant for wish :-P just how far can we go with wish to make any "fixes" maybe improvements to the way combat works?

You shouldn't get so picky just yet. There is a whole server to write before the little stuff can get worked on. As for those games listed above, those aren't all the games that have had servers emulated.

I made a post at gamergod about this forum. Hopefully they'll draw some attention to our plight. I also saw a post at mmorpg.com in the Wish forums. Post everywhere. Let people know Project Wish is fighting. The more supporters we get the more MR is likely to respond.

Well, I am sure if the popularity of this grows, they will be wanting to contact us. For some reason, it always seems to work that way in the gaming industry. A company 'calls-it-quits', and when somone else decided to attempt to rebuild it, the company gets upset. Odd... :cry:
