I've been posting my latest works in the Dev section, so I thought I'd post up some art in the General section, -where everyone can see it smile.gif . This was a quick work done for some fun on a different type of pixie, -as ToA fan art (Most of the ToA pixie players did NOT like the idea of pixies being insect-types biggrin.gif ).

I'm guessing this might fit more as an 'Insect Faeries' type of race? (Since Pixies are pretty much seen as human-like, but that's not always the case smile.gif )
note: This is not a PW Dev work, just General art by me smile.gif . I did not post it in the Ideas section, -since I don't mean to imply it as something for PW. Just some General art for fun (and if it does get used for PW, I have no worries with that smile.gif ).

Made me think of the art for the game Chitin: I
Any and all feedback is welcomed! biggrin.gif

We'll see what Pandra has to say about it, but I think I might like standard insect wings better, or at least oblong ones. Very cool josh!

biggrin.gif Thanks! Ya, those are some funky wings, I agree. And good point Greendots, I could be easily persuaded that this might be a variety of a small, flying goblin race? Or, maybe as an 'Insect Race'?

I like it, very well done josh. As everyone else has said the wings need help. It looks cool with out the wings also, it could be a big guardian of some sort. Or maybe a bee like wings. I am not artisticly inclined so theses ideas are just thrown out there.

Oh cool! I never thought of that. Take off the wings, and make it big guardian creature, I like it smile.gif .

Please feel free to post any of your ideas Maxwell, I appreciate it & DIG your posts! (Good ideas, great feedback! biggrin.gif ).

I was thinking Grahopper or Termite style wings, but Max is right, he looks very cool without wings and would make for one scary looking guadrian creature. Might wanna match those upper arms a bit. The one holding the axe looks quit a bit spindlier than the empty one and the far leg looks outta line.

I wouldn't want to wake up with a couple of those things peering down at me. blink.gif

Can you make those arms/legs have segmented parts like an ant? I like the muscled-insect, Pop-eye's forearms look. CLASSY!

And more Thanks for more good feedback smile.gif . Yes, I could, and I will make those arms & legs have segmented parts, good idea Rico! A Fire Ant Humanoid, cool smile.gif .

Good eye Pandra, I appreciate it & I'll be glad to make those improvements!

Here's another variety;

IPB Image

PhotoShop CS2 and my Wacom tablet were driving me nuts... the tablet driver would crash > fix that > PhotoShop would freeze > rinse, repeat for 3 hours... I'd draw a line, crash. Fix > draw line, SAVE! > crash. Fix > restart > draw line > freeze, work lost. Fix > draw line, SAVE! > crash. laugh.gif Ah.. fun, fun. Yup, I'm doing all the good driver fun (uninstall, reinstall, tech support, forums, google searches, use flame thrower on tablet, scream, etc. smile.gif ). But, honest, no worries, it was a new driver for the Wacom tablet & I was just pushing to see what new stuff it could do. This was a new driver for getting the Wacom tablet to work with Windows Vista (I'm guessing Vista is creating a wave of driver problems for many PC items?). I'll put the old driver back in, and get by smile.gif .

Note; This is not a PW Dev work. Just fun (and I enjoy getting the feedback! Thanks!)

Wow That looks very cool. Nice guardian type. Couldn't imagine getting around one of these very easily. Glad you had fun with it smile.gif
