Hi JKent, Welcome to PW! smile.gif

Do you use your mouse in 'mouse' mode, or in 'pen' mode? Just checking, it sounds like a silly question, -but your mouse might need to be set to 'mouse' mode?

DWARF works pretty good with keyboard controls, -are you doing keyboard and mouse, or just mouse?

Ah, that option button (for your mouse) might be the issue then. Can you open the program up that has the Preferences to your mouse? Many of the newer devices have a setting for 'mouse' mode and 'pen' mode. And sometimes the modes will be called different things (like 'data input,' instead of 'pen' mode). 'Mouse' mode would most likely be the default mode, so the mouse would act normally. 'Pen' mode allows the mouse cursor to follow your mouse in the 'pick up' and 'set down' of the mouse. Example; if in 'pen' mode, when you pick-up the mouse and put it down, your cursor will move relative to where the mouse has been moved. In 'mouse' mode, you can pick up the mouse, and put it down in a new position -but it does not move where your cursor was (keeps the cursor in the same position until you make contact with the mouse pad, and move it again).
