The Subject says it all.

There has been a string of discussions that has tackled the topic of player titles. Which can be very conveniantly found here. --> http://www.projectwish.com/e107_plugins/fo...wtopic.php?5249

I personaly would like to see a mixed kind of system in this. As a thief, assasin, or some kind of player killer, I would like to be able to change my title so people do not reconize me and go...Hey! There's StaticGrazer The Thief!!! Kill him!!!111oneoneone. I'd like to be StaticGrazer The Thief, but have a title like SG-Shapeshifter.

A self appointed title can reflect what a players` character is concentrating on. Though I think the highest titles such as kind, mayor, chief..so on and so forth, should not be used. Mainly because an assasin probley wouldn't want to go around as the person he's trying to kill, he/she might find theirself dead. And that they are appointers of titles to other players, as listed below.

An appointed title; by a mayor, chief, king...so on and so forth, would hold a social status or reflect a great deed done. I am Gunther! Lord of the western land. It can be as simple as this, or it can go on, and on.
(Though a displayed Title should probley be short..less than 22 words? May Haps? Please note, an appointed title CAN be duplicated, IE, there can be 2 Lord Byran of MarVellis. One would of course, be the real and an imposter, trying to get some gold, destroy his reputation, or just take something of value. ^,^

I believe that having a mixed system for player titles has the best parts of both worlds.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Dwilf instead of an account name used in public global chat why not a nick name that you could change back and forth from like in the IRC. The only difference would be you would have to set in it in settings making it harder to change in the game.

I lean more heavily on this idea because account names with some people are something to be kept quiet and to yourself.

I do like the idea of spatial chat and focus.

Bob I pretty sure they will have a private message system though I tend to like the ones that can be recieved online and offline, as in UO.
