Project Wish _ Speed Modeling _ Speed Modeling Guidelines

Posted by: Jerky Jan 15 2007, 02:50 AM

Overview
Welcome to the speed modeling competition forum! Every two weeks, the project-wish staff will offer a new theme to allow users to flex their artistic muscle!

During those two weeks, you may enter any speed modeling entry you wish to submit in a reply to the topic containing the current competition. You may submit as many entries as you wish, as long as each entry follows the given rules.

After two weeks, a poll will be setup allowing the community to select the top 2 entries for the current competition (a champion and an honorable mention). This poll will last for one week, and will be open to the entire project wish community.

What counts as "speed modeling?"
Speed modeling is not a defined ruleset, but more a set of guidelines that users agree to follow. It is assumed that speed modeling is exactly that: speedy modeling. The community will not necissarily vote for the most detailed result, but will vote on the best overall effect!

What do I submit?
Upon submitting an entry, make a reply to the topic containing the theme that applies to your image. Also, please post the time taken to complete your entry, as well as the tools used (after all, in the end this is a learning process for everyone!)

Speed modeling is great practice for any 3d modeler; feel free to show off your work here!

Let the modeling begin!
