Combat should never be restricted there was once a dream by several men one of them being richard garriot. the creator of Ultima Online before ea took over he had developed a full freedom game world. no fighting was restricted there was concenquiences but no restrictions. for example Fred attackes shirly in town Shirly calls for the guards Fred is known as a criminal for awhile and the guards are combative towards Fred if Fred kills Shirly in front of a guard Fred becomes a murder.. something like that.. my theory is simply making combat anywhere and dont have gay weapons that do 1000000 damage like everquest with high level chars just wooping the shit outta newb chars i mean thats correct but at least in real life a vetreen fighter is gonna just sweep a moderite fighter in a second i mean a newb char should have the chance to kill a grandmaster fighter not saying the chances are high but i mean make it something like swords brake and you have to hack and slash with wariors make it so you can deflect some types of magic stuff like that. low level chars should be givin a chance maybe not a high one but at least something make it more player workable than ITEM BASED thats what im looking for. i hate item based games. Determine it on skills and strength, dex, and intelegence.
sorry im just tired of seeing games with like weapons that are just godly.

I could not agree with you more bugz. One question though what is going to stop PKers? The murder thing really isn't going to do it? Unless you have more ideas on the topic.

i think that if someone is a murder then there could be a bounty system for a reward take someones head to a guard and get money. and as well as that do not let murders come into town without like a disguse kit.. ;]
