One idea/request got beaten down yesterday in irc over a discussion about races and governmental systems, so again here.

I would appreciate the display of the current time in different time zones somewhere on the site. As of now, the time is displayed only in the timezone I set in the forum properties. But if I read something about an irc meeting at 6pm Pacific it would be sooooooooooo convenient to see what time it s now at selected zones right now.

Sure anybody can do this by himself but I for my part are always looking at a interne world clock for reference (lazy me :) ).

I was thinking about a graphical display of several analogous clocks like in these banking centers or (more easy) just as text.

Could anybody backup my request please? Otherwise I need to buy an additional clock for my table to set it to whatever timezone PW uses as a general time zone.

An easier solution would be to communicate all meetings and other times in GMT. Most know their own time zone compared to GMT, and if not it is very easy to figure out.

I agree with simlaril , all meetings and other importand events should be posted in GMT , as simlaril said everybody knows their difference to gmt and can check the time easy :)

What are you guys complaining about, all meetings up to now have been posted in GMT and another time, usually the time of the poster ie (cst) for me.
