My Idea of financing PWs mmorpg after Beta Options

Some are worried about if the mmorpg project is going to be free or commercial.

I been debating over this for a bit and have come up with a possible solution for all parties.

This is an example

The client will be free for download and play.

Servers will be hosted by sponsors.

Companies download the server software after purchase. They provide the servers for the players.

Login server is located at PW, PW is responsible for patches and publish support for the servers.

Player clicks the client and is geeted by a login screen with advertisements. Player logs out of game, taken to a screen saying thanks for playing please visit our sponsors.

The companies would get better than average hits than a web site. Either case, this would eliminate server cost, the players get a free game, and a little capital if not alot is gained.

Think about it our game hosted by Pepsi, Autozone, Wal mart, Nascar, Ebay etc...
