This shows a couple of quick clips by Asher Zhu.
For those that don't know, Asher Zhu is a Senior Technical Artist at Epic Games.
He posts a lot of amazing demos and simulations of water and slime.
The first short clip (16 seconds) shows a game prototype where you dissolve characters by throwing slime at them. Personally, I don't think that would make much as the basis of a game, but it would be a great mechanic to use.
The second clip on the page (37 seconds) shows some fluid experiments.
This is the part that I really like. I can definitely envision using something like this in a world-creation tool. Being able to drag-and-drop rivers, then use the mouse to drag it and change its trajectory/course in real time would make for incredible world-building. Have something like that in your tool and everyone would be scrambling to use it. Where's our Dwarf source code.....
