Is already underway and just entered beta. It is Irth Online. REALLY. NO KIDDING. Trust me... I can't say anything as I am now a tester and am under NDA but I have the feeling it will be awesome. Check it out.

I believe the old screenshots are with their old graphics... not the newly acquired ones. :)

More interesting is the fact there are only 3 news posts since 9/12/04 and 31/01/05 at which point it says it's up for release in mid 2005? good find Pashta..

They are having a dev chat on May 9th at 4pm EST on irc... the server is irc.irthonline.com and the room is #irthonline. They are giving away 100 INSTANT BETA KEYS (they call it beta but really it's alpha) to everyone who goes and follows the email instructions given. Don't miss it folks. :) That's how I got mine... you get an NDA in the email within a day and once you agree to it and tell them your forum name they will send you the download info and beta key.

Not that I want to stop anyone who wants to play the beta, but with an NDA, I'm slightly concerned that anyone on our dev team would be creating a sticky legal situation for PW by accepting an NDA.

well I tried to surf their website for info (alas not much there)...

I think they were planning on just humans until they acquired the Wish art. They are playing around with the elven characters in game so they probably will change it, that's my guess.
Try reading the forums, there's always more current information there than on FAQs and front pages. I posted the last dev chat log there as well. -------------------- -Lady Pashta

I played it on beta 3 it aint all that fun somethings are like wish but much worse for example you can chop trees and your chopping skill goes up but nothing else and the guy stops chopping after a few chopse even if he gets no wood and the tress get chopped so fast and all trees have the same type of wood
I played an houer or so and didnt like it I want wish! |

I have to admit. IRTH has potential, but it was slated for release Q2 of 2005... Seems they missed that mark. For enjoyable play, it leaves a bit to be desired as well.

I just got an Irth beta account too, no idea how though- I'd never heard of it, though I was in Wish beta... anyway there it was in my email, downloading as we speak, I'm very interested to see how it plays.
BTW wazzup Pashta and Jaramar, remember ya'll from Mourning community. I went a couple weeks or so between logins there and POOF it's closed- what happened? |

I signed up for it. I'm probably not going to actually install and play it until I get my new laptop on Monday (can't wait ^^ ). Oh and after reinstalling everything else I currently have cluttering my Program Files.

i got 2 beta's , one i askd for with my new gmail account and just got an beta invite on my hotmail account, but i only played the game for like 5minutes, perhaps i should make myself play more, but don't feel like it.
