Better to do it on a more neutral network, so the project don't get associated with Stratics (not that it's anything wrong with stratics, but we all know relationships between fansites aren't always the best).
The other network used for wish was sorcery. (irc.sorcery.net). I'd suggest going there instead. |

You don't have to, I can't think of the link to any Java IRC chat clients off the top of my head, but you can download a small program called mIRC. I feel it's the best IRC client. The link is www.mirc.com and just grab the evaluation file.

no, after you install the IRC program, the quickest way is to go to your internet browser and copy and paste this: irc://irc.sorcery.net/projectwish This should take you directly to the chat-room. After, ofcourse, it asks you to connect.
