Welcome 3 New Artists Options

We would like to welcome 3 new artists to the Art team. This comes at a great time, as we need all the help we can get creating all the art assets we will need for Alpha 1 (Marr Vellis). Gredinus,the first of the new team members has been a member on the website since the beginning, and just learned SketchUp to help us make building models. John, the second new member, has also been around and has already contributed many great ideas in the forum. He can do a bit of everything, from concept drawing to modeling. joshpurple, the third new member, came (inadvertantly) from another MMO's messageboard. He saw a thread regarding PW and started making something to donate to us. Jerky caught wind of this and offered him an interview. He can do it all, artwise, from concept, to modeling, to animation, and will be a great asset to the team. We will post some of their art soon, along with some of the other things the other artists are working on soon.

We would also like to announce that September is officially DWARF release month. Each week we plan on releasing screenshots (yes, you read that right, real screenshots!) and information about or internal World Editor, codenamed DWARF. Then, at the end of the month, we will release an alpha version of the tool, which will allow you to see what we are using to create these screenshots.

All in all, it is a very exciting time for PW. We just had a great meeting with the developers yesterday, where we planned many great and exciting things. Our main Trac/wiki/IRC/Test server was rebuilt this weekend to add redundancy and prepare for the amount of content that it will be hosting. This was a much needed step to ensure our longevity as a project.
